Manage Tap List
Your library is every beer you've made. Flip the On Tap switch on any beer to pull it onto the public menu — no need to re-enter details each time a beer comes back. This site is static, so changes save to a draft in this browser only. To publish, download the file(s) below and replace them in data/, then redeploy.
Click Download beers.json above. What you get depends on whether you added photos:
A · Text changes only → a beers.json file
- Drop it into
C:\Users\thoma\OneDrive\Desktop\Website\data\, replacing the old one (Replace when asked).
B · You uploaded a beer photo → a whistle-hop-menu-update.zip file
- Right-click the zip → Extract All → pick your
…\Websitefolder → Extract. Choose Replace if asked. - That drops the updated
beers.jsonintodata\and your photos intoimages\beers\automatically — no separate image handling.
Then, either way:
- Open GitHub Desktop → note like "Update tap list" → Commit to main → Push origin.
- Live in about 20 seconds.
Uploaded photos are now saved as real image files automatically, so they also appear in the Wholesale Email Builder. Editing beer categories? Use Download categories.json and drop it in data\ the same way.
Menu Categories
These are the sections your beers are grouped into on the menu, in order. Rename a category any time — beers stay linked. Remove one and its beers fall under "More" until reassigned. Untick Slideshow to keep a category out of the rotating "Now Pouring" showcase on the homepage.
